I know I’m not the first .net programmer to ask this question and I don’t think I’ll be the last. Why, oh why must we constantly include the runat=”server” attribute in our custom and pre-compiled web control declarations? To me it seems like this is unnecessary bloat that could be re-tooled to save developers more time and reduce headaches caused by forgetting it’s inclusion. (more…)

I’ll be going dark for the next couple of days (sorry I’ve been watching a lot of spy movies over the weekend) and more than likely won’t have time to post an update so Happy Holidays to everyone out there and I’ll see you all back here after the break!
Where was I when this was written??? Oh, right. I was a finishing my Sophomore year in High School. Oh well. Any way, apparently the Unix operating system (and I would think any 32-bit operating system) will fail in the year 2038. Well, January 19, 2038 3:14:08 UTC to be precise. (more…)

The Google buzz machine is in overdrive again with the announcement of “Knols” a Wikipedia competitor that is going into private beta. Check out the blog posting and screen-shot when you have a chance.
Bigger news:
Polymer Vision a phillips spin-off has announced that they have produced the first foldable display. Not only that but they are planning to release these new displays in their new 3g capable device named the “Readius”.
